The McKee Range Ranch is approximately 1,388 acres and is located to the northwest of the Town of Covelo in northern Mendocino County. The Ranch is mostly gently to steeply sloping and is situated near the top of Updegraff Ridge. The land slopes down to Tin Cabin Creek along the southern portion of the property. The property has elevations of up to 4,250 feet and down to 1,500 feet.
Although there is no water developed on the property, there are several seasonal creeks that are tributaries to Tin Cabin Creek and Eel River, which both run year-round. There are also reported to be several springs on the ranch, which could be developed as a water source.
Utilities are not on-site but are available from neighboring properties or could possibly be generated by a variety of "off-the-grid" resources.
The interior access roads over the property are rough-grade dirt and gravel roads. There is perimeter fencing and some cross-fencing.
